The Arizona Capitol Museum is starting 2017 with a new exhibit: a smorgasbord of Arizona's minerals provided by the Mining, Mineral, and Natural Resource Education museum. Beautiful specimens of native Arizona minerals and curated artifacts from the state's historic mines are accompanied by maps and interpretive signage. The MMNRE is honored to display this important piece of Arizona's past and products among the fine historical exhibits of the Capitol Museum.
Visitors to the Arizona Capitol Museum, located in the State Capitol Building (1700 W. Washington, Phoenix, AZ 85007) will access the traveling exhibit as part of regular museum admission. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Special thanks to the Arizona Capitol for hosting this display.
